Welcome to River Cabin Getaway on Olympic Peninsula in Washington State
River Cabin Getaway is perched above the Little Quilcene River, affectionately called ‘Little Quil’ by the locals, on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Just another day in paradise! The cabin is nestled in a restful, forested setting, just a couple miles west of Quilcene, which hugs the shore of Hood Canal.
If you’ve ever been to the state of Washington, then you probably know that the Olympic Peninsula is the large arm of land in western Washington that lies across Puget Sound from Seattle. It is bounded on the west by the Pacific Ocean, the north by the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and the east by Hood Canal. And it is the home of Olympic National Park. Within the park there are three distinct ecosystems which are sub-alpine forest and wildflower meadow, temperate forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. These three different ecosystems are in pristine condition and have outstanding scenery.
Whether you enjoy fishing, hunting, swimming, hiking or just complete and utter relaxation, you’ll find it with a short or long stay at this secluded, rustic (yet very comfortable) cabin. Just 40 miles or so out of Seattle, you’re in the wilderness yet close to civilization.
